Sorrento Campsite review: Village Camping Campogaio Santafortunata

It's a short walk in to Sorrento from the camp site (just over 1 km.)
Try not to stay near the restaurant area, it is VERY noisy late at night, and also early in the morning when the cleaners clean up the mess from the night before.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
There are two beaches. Only one is open out of high season. find out which one is open before walking all the way there. The beach is a steep walk down a path. It is a flat rocky area. The swimming is nice - you jump in from the rocks and it's a bit of a scramble out - not for the elderly! No waves, warm water. Gorgeous view of Vesuvius. They close the beach if the wind blows as they feel it is not safe to scramble out in "bad" weather.
