Ho Chi Minh Hotel review: Thuan Duc Hotel
This is a great little guest house and central to all the sights. The guesthouse is very clean and the owner cannot do enough to help and to answer any questions you may have about HCMC and tours around the city. We would most definitely stay at this guesthouse again.
Sihanoukville Guesthouse review: Mick and Craigs
Mick & Craigs is great value accommodation and we ended up spending 8 days here. We had a twin room with ensuite. The room is of a good size and is clean. The location of the guesthouse is great as it is close to the beach and also to lots of different restaurants so you can eat at a different place every night if you so wish. The closest beach is a little busy and gets very busy at the weekend but you can hire a tuk tuk and go to other beaches or walk a little longer along the beach where it gets quieter and quieter. We have had a great 8 days in Sihanoukville and would recommend both Mick & Craigs and Sihanoukville. If you are planning on going to Vietnam and haven't got your Visa, we can recommend getting it in Sihanoukville as we got ours from the embassy and it only took 15 minutes.
Siem Reap Hostel review: Lovely Guesthouse
We had a great 5 days at Lovely Guesthouse, admittedly most of it was spent at the temples but the room was a pleasure to come back to. We paid $7 for a twin room (ensuite, cold shower, fan & cable TV). The Guesthouse is very quiet but a great location. The room was very clean and a very good size. We hired a tuk tuk from the guesthouse which was $50 for 3 days which included a sunrise and a sunset if you so wish. Would definitely recommend a sunrise at Angkor Wat. We cannot recommend this guesthouse enough as it is very clean, great location and real value for money.
