Citizenship: SwedenLaughing a lot. I love travelling but I think I'll always come back to Sweden, although it's tiny, a bit too cold and very "lagom" (not too much, not too little)
Hobbies:Oh, you NAME it!!! Snowboarding, sailing, painting, singing, climbing, hiking, parties, movies, travelling, all sorts of sports, running, dancing, photographing... And that sort of stuff, basically.
Favourite places:New Zealand - I spent one year there as an exchange student, and I want to go back every day...
Uruguay - the most amazing coastline and the most relaxed people you can imagine.
Any train station anywhere in the world - they've always got this really vibrating and expecting atmoshere around them...

So, I'm back home in Sweden, I'm sad to say. But there are all those sweet memories to hang on to! These are a few of the weird but lovely things that just makes travelling so sweet...!!

Colourful lady in Cusco
You know you are in South America when...
* ...when you realize that about 50% of the male locals are wearing the same haircut as Maradona did in the late 80's.
* ...when you spend 8 months in countries producing the major part of the World's consumption of coffee - but hardly ever get served anything else than nasty instant coffee.
* ...when you find yourself surrounded by five men with rifles outside the supermarket, "in order to make you feel secure"...
* ...when you are constantly chased by twelve year old shoe shine boys - even though you've been wearing nothing but flipflops for the last couple of months.

Since I spent as much as a year down under I think I managed to get a pretty good insight of the country. It's not that big, and I did a whole lot of travelling even though I spent most of the time studying in Auckland. I did quite a few touristy things too, so I might be able to help out if you have questions about that, what to avoid and what shouldn't be missed etc.

Since I'm Swedish and have lived here for most of my life, I think I know what there is to know actually! Also, I'm really in to outdoor stuff so if you have questions about that I could probably help you.

I'm pretty familiar with Denmark, Sweden, Norway, the United Kingdom, Ireland... And I've been to several other countries in Europe and might be able to answer basic questions about Estonia, Finland, Germany, Italy, Austria, Slovenia, France and the Netherlands too.

Recently I spent 8 months travelling through most of the continent. I´ve visited and travelled through Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia and a little bit in Brazil, so if you have questions about any of those countries I could probably help!
