Citizenship: USAi've always had the travel bug, but after breaking onto the working scene for a couple of years, i couldn't take it any longer. i found my big break when my car was stolen and put the insurance money to good use taking off around the world for 5 months. On the journey i met an incredible man which began a cross continental relationship between the states and the southern tip of africa. We finally ended the madness and tied the knot five years later. Since then, its been many trips back "home" with a couple of journeys in between.

Amsterdam Guesthouse review: Amsterdam B & B Barangay
I stayed at the Barangay B&B from the day after xmas until the 30th of December 2007 with my husband. The location was perfect, just a five minute walk from the train station and on the edge of the action. It was very easy to get around just walking out the door. Our hosts Wilmo and Godwin were wonderful and greeted us with open arms and immediately offered us a drink. There was a party going on for xmas and we felt very welcome. We were given a map of the city with plenty of recommendations of things to do and see. Our room was very clean with plenty of room. It lead out onto a small courtyard where we could smoke if we pleased. We would definitely stay with Wilmo and God again and are looking forward to a return visit.

I've traveled extensively throughout Southern Africa and a little bit through East Africa. My most recent African travels have taken me to South Africa, Swaziland, Botswana and Mozambique. I have also been to Namibia, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, Tanzania, Kenya and Mauritius. I'm happy to help with any questions someone might have. And if I can't answer your questions, my husband might be able to...he was a safari guide throughout Southern and East Africa! Happy Travels!

I've live in the Northeast of the states most of my life! I'm based out of Philadelphia these days but have made several road trips throughout the country making it as far as Las Vegas in the Southwest, Sun Valley, Idaho in the Northwest and all the way down to Mexico via the Blue Ridge Parkway. I've seen a lot of what's in between as well. I'm happy to help out the best I can!
