Nagano Hostel review: Kamesei Ryokan

Wonderful traditional ryokan with excellent hospitality. Quaint facility with nice indoor wooden bath and beautiful outdoor rock bath. Excellent service including prompt pick-up shuttle from the train station. Our host Tyler was helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. Once we arrived and saw how nice it was, we tried to change our itinerary so that we could stay another day, but we could not. We were also dissapointed that we did not plan take our meals there - I'm sure they are excellent. We look forward to the next opportunity we have to visit the area and will without hesitation stay at Kamesei Ryokan.
