Marital Status: SingleLaid-back, goofy, stubborn, giving, optimistic, loyal. I like languages, adventure, travel, exercising, comedies (Simpsons, Seinfeld, D&D), international music (especially latin!).
Hobbies:Swimming, biking, running, triathlons (all distances, but 1/2 ironman is the longest I've done. No full ironman yet!), marathons, downhill skiing, snowshoeing, scuba diving, hiking - so in a nutshell, fitness! Travelling (obviously), comedies, planning social gatherings, organizing. I get pretty into World Cup soccer and the Olympics (cross your fingers for Chicago 2016!).
Favourite places:Everywhere and anywhere! Turkey is one of my FAVORITE places in the world! It has a wonderful east meets west feel, and there is just soo much amazing things to see and do there! The best diving I've done is at the Red Sea in Egypt and at Roatan, Honduras. Was fascinated with Moscow (Kremlin, Red Square) and St. Petersburg (The Hermitage is the bets museum I've ever been to) and 'The Motherland" in general. Loved the beaches in Thailand. Climbing a volcano in Pucon, Chile was ahh-mazing. Can't beat sunny, cloudless days in Colorado while hitting the slopes or powder days in Utah. Partying in Brazil and Argentina was awesome! The Adriatic coast of Croatia is a not-to-miss and same goes for Montenegro. As far as Europe, I will never forget the running of the bulls in Pamplona (or watching it for that matter!), people-watching at the Plaza Mayor in Madrid, Prague, the people in Italy and the amazing art. I could go on and on! London is just a cool, fun city in general. Being in Ireland on Easter, the one day bars were closed was kinda funny... and how they made up for it afterwards! Scotland was fun, I've never seen people drink so much (hmm... except in Russia that is, they really love that vodka!).

Home! As they say, there is no place like home. But also, there is nothing like traveling the world and embarking on soo many adventures and having an experience of a lifetime!! It all almost feels like a dream, zip-zapping through country after country over such a short time (yes, I know 6 months may seem like a lot, but to fully explore a country, you really need years!). People always talk about culture shocks when you go abroad, but its actually more of a culture shock coming back home after being abroad for so long! Everything seems soo expensive ("this is a week's food and accomodations in India"), big, and ... organized and quiet.
The end of this trip has come, but I feel it is definitely a new beginning. A new beginning with starting my career, new friendships, new ideas to travel elsewhere (he he), and new insights to myself and the world!
Here's a map of my travels:
Soo, some have asked, and here it is! A grand f
