While the taj has been agra,s usp for a long time , it is no neighbour,s envy. the neighbour has had its own pride all this while. fatehpur sikri, the other majestic mughal monument in the agra ,is just 37 km from the agra. it was akbar,s capital for about 15 years , is different from most other monuments in the india in the way it marries muslim and hindu architectural styles. to many mesmerised eyes , the white marble tomb of salim chishti cradles craftsmanship more intricate then ever the taj.
