Auckland Hostel review: Airport Skyway Lodge

I came to stay in the Skyway Lodge because my connecting flight to Fiji was only in the morning of the following day I had arrived in Auckland. After arrived in Auckland I gave a call to the Lodge (using free number). 15 minutes later I was picked up and brought to the lodge. The rooms are simple, but clean and exactly what one needs to recover from a long flight. Shops and restaurants are very close by. The facilities in the lodge (swimming pool, dvd / TV, kitchen, laundry) seem to be ok, however I did not use any of them. WIFI internet was great, one of the best bandwidth I experienced so far. Very good, fast and stable connection.

I did not travel to Auckland city, so I can nothing report on how easy or difficult it is to get there.

The people running the lodge are very friendly and helpful. Already this would be a good reason to return to the place when I need to stop over in Auckland next time.

All in all I was very satisfied with the Lodge.
