Met in Boat Quay,
Singapore in 2004
Citizen of: Netherlands
Lives in Amsterdam. When we met he was holding a Siemens commercial balloon that hit a couple of guys :) We were supposed to go to Bukit Timah together the next day. He was on his 7th week of 4.5-month RTW trip when we met (I think it was June 17). His itinerary: Thailand - Japan - Singapore (where we met) - Australia - USA.
Met in On Shinkansen from Nagoya,
Japan in 2002
Citizen of: Japan
Lives in Nagoya. We met on shinkansen from Nagoya. I was trying to take a look at Mt Fuji and sat next to him. We took each other's snapshot and exchanged email addresses. I got off in Chiba / Tokyo Disneyland. After I went home we sent each other emails, but then it just stopped.
Met in Hotel Mikado, Osaka,
Japan in 2005
Citizen of: United Kingdom
November 2005, Hotel Mikado, Osaka. He was the first person who greeted me when I arrived exhausted late at night at the hotel on Nov 13. Met again a few times at the lobby / Internet station and had small conversations.
