Helsinki Hostel review: Academica Summer Hostel

Really friendly staff-- really convenient location. I was in a 3 person room-- in the old section and we had a kitchen with a fridge-- there is a communal kitchen where you can borrow cooking equipment from. wireless internet in the room for a price (or you can try and steal). I would definitely recommend

Berlin Hostel review: Schlafmeile Hostel

Booked on the internet site- paid deposit- then received an email advising me that the room type I had requested was no longer available (ensuit) and said I had to have a shared bathroom-- the friend I was traveling with was pregnant with bad morning sickness and understandably wanted her own bathroom. So I emailed them back explaining the situation and asked them if there was any chance we could have the room we had booked or if they could suggest where else we could stay- I received no response... I wouldn't recommend this place if you have a specific room request as you might lose your deposit and have to search for somewhere else to stay
