Rome HOSTEL review: Hostel Alessandro Palace & Bar

The Alessandro Palace (not to be confused with the Alessandro Downtown) is one of the many hostels and hotels in the area near to Termini Station. Because of this, the location is fine, when you are arriving and leaving. Not only trains run from Termini, but also Metro, and many buslines, including to the airports. From Termini it is just a couple of minutes to the Hostel. The staff was very helpful and speak several languages so getting information was really easy. The beds and the rooms are nice, and entrance secured by a batch you receive when checking in. If you arrive early (or leave you bags on the day of departure) you can use the big storage room downstairs. The only two downsides where the smell of the bathroom. As my bed was located closest to the bathroom I had to close the door a couple of times, because of this. The other small downside was the breakfast, that could have been a bit more diverse. That the coffee from a machine, I can understand for economical reasons, but in Italy with its rich coffee culture, you would not expect it. But the plusses outway the negatives by far, so I had a lovely stay. The bar is lively in the evening, and a nice place to meet other travellers. Free internet is always a plus.

Stockholm HOSTEL review: STF / IYHF Fridhemsplan

Best hostel I've stayed in. A bit expensive but worth it. Very good rooms, with not too many other people, great breakfast buffet. I would stay here again if I need to go to Stockholm again.

Helsinki HOSTEL review: Hostel Stadion

worst hostel I've stayed in.

it's far from the center, rooms were too full (they just pulled in two extra strechers to let people sleep.) ventilation is very bad, my back hurted for many days after sleeping on these beds. For the price you are paying this is very bad.

Jerez de la Frontera Hotel review: Hotel Avila

The Hotel is situated between the train and busstation and the city center. To both it's approx. a 10 minute walk.

For me a hotel is a luxury on a trip, as I tend to use hostals. The individual room I had was small and clean. The Hotel is run by friendly people. Leaving the suitcases behind the counter, at the day that I left was no problem. Breakfast was good.
