Singapore HOTEL review: Madras Hotel Eminence
Overall this was a good hotel. It was definitely a good value for Singapore. The hotel is at least a 10 minute walk, which is ok if you aren't carrying all of your bags. The staff was very helpful and the rooms were clean and comfortable.
Frankfurt hotel review: City Hotel Frankfurt
This hotel was ok. Some of the staff was friendly and some were not. The room we stayed in was not very clean. The carpet was sticky and had black stains all over. The bed was extremely soft and the pillows were brown. The location was great (but across the street from a strip club) and the price was good.
Ho Chi Minh HOTEL review: An An Hotel
Overall a good experience. They were extremely helpful setting up cars, tours and making reservations.
Hanoi HOTEL review: Hanoi Elite Hotel
Hands down a great experience. That staff was excellent and the amenities available were more than expected. They even had several choices for breakfast including western.
Taipei HOTEL review: Royal Garden Hotel
Overall a very good experience. The hotel is a bit of a trek from the city center, but the MRT is less than a five minute walk from the hotel which if very convenient. As for facilities, there was no breakfast included, but they did have instant coffee in the room and there is a 7-11 right around the corner where you can pick up a quick snack.
Sydney HOSTEL review: Sinclairs City Hostel
Overall it was a great place to stay. The price is right and there are tons of great restaurants around. It is a bit of a hike to get to different places-so just be ready to walk or bus around the city. The staff was helpful, but sometimes you could not find them. Again, overall we enjoyed it.
Kyoto hostel review: Kyoto Bakpak Hostel
The hostel was nice and the staff was fine. They weren't very knowledgeable on restaurant in the area when we asked questions, but over all they were good. There is also no one on duty in the evening/early morning. The hostel was clean and the location was good.
Kaohsiung HOSTEL review: La Pension de la Fougre
We were only in Kaohsiung for one night, but the price was reasonable and it was very close to the subway station and everything we needed. The pension owner was very kind, knowledgeable and helpful.
Brussels Hotel review: Prince de Liege Hotel
I booked the Hotel New Prince de Liege in Brussels Belgium. Upon our arrival to the hotel we were told they were fully booked and they had reserved us a different hotel. They mentioned that the new hotel would be 7-10 km away from their hotel (much further outside of the city) and that it was of much lower quality, but cheaper. They said they did have two twin accommodations (we had booked a quad room) at the Price de Liege, but we would have to pay extra. I tried to explain that they should give us the two twin rooms for the same price since we had booked the room in advance and the receptionist refused. We even got the owner on the phone who refused to change the price.
Luckily we had a car to get to the new hotel they had reserved for us-otherwise I am not sure how you would have gotten in and out of the city with out paying a lot of money for cab rides. The new hotel option was not acceptable at all. It was located far outside the city and it was of very poor quality-right on the highway. After reading several other reviews, on other website, I found that they seem to do this very often with their customers.
Phuket HOSTEL review: Phuket Backpacker
The staff was extremely helpful with setting up our tours and giving us advise. Rooms were great and good value for the price.
