Luang Prabang Guesthouse review: Chitlatda2 Guesthouse
This was a decent place to relax after the long journey down river on the slow boat, however, for the price we paid we expected a bit more in the way of service and possibly an inclusive breakfast. There are places in LP offering much the same level of service (if not more) for half the price.
Chiang Mai HOSTEL review: INBOX Hostel by FWD
This small hostel was fantastic. The box units in the dorm gave a degree of privacy that you wouldn't ordinarily get in a dorm facility. The hostel was clean, the service was exceptional and, best of all, the dorm itself was really well insulated from street noise which is a rarity in the old city. A great place to stay.
Chiang Mai Hotel review: Rainforest Boutique Hotel
After spending a week on a farm in the mountains we wanted to come back to Chiang Mai and relax in some comfort without busting the budget. The Rainforest Boutique was just the tonic we needed, with clean, comfortable rooms and a nice swiming pool to cool off in during the day and all for a very reasonable price. The service was very good and the staff were able to arrange anything we could possibly need. The only issue some people might have is the fact that the hotel is about 5km from the Old City and it simply isn't possible to walk in there. It wasn't an issue for us because we hired a scooter and could come and go as we pleased but for those of you less confident about braving the Thai traffic, you will have to rely on taxis to get you about the place.
Chiang Mai Guesthouse review: Good Will Guest House
This is a lovely, relaxed and safe place to rest up for a few days, much like Chiang Mai itself. Great spot and would definitely stay here again.
