Den Burg HOSTEL review: Stayokay Texel
I can say that everything is perfect: new, modern, perfectly clean, freindly & helpful staff, very good breakfast (included in price), facilities inside the room. Yes, weekend begin be full with kids & families, bt there r kids from Netherlands who know to behave! The price is ok for Netherlands, but a bit hight for medium-European hostels.
Ravenna HOSTEL review: Ostello Dante
Very friendly and nice staff, pleasure to meet them!
Hostel itself is so-so about cleanliness, facilities (from 8 public showers only one somehow worked, others were pretty distroyed).
Nice breakfast. Basically all the area of reception and lobby kept well, clean and comfi.
Free WiFi and 2 public comp. in lobby.
Elevator (3+1 floors building).
Far from center - about 20 mins of fast walk to train station, and even longer to the center.
Supermarket in 50 m, but no facilities for self-catering, except of micro. Even no refrigerator.
At noon hostel closed for cleaning.
Free bicycles are avaliable.
And , once again - very nice ppl indeed!
Vicenza HOSTEL review: Ostello Olimpico Vicenza
Perfect location for stay in Vicenza and reasonable price. Eveything is all right, exsept of a guy in reception who was not friendly, almost rude. It left bad impression even other ppl there were nice and eveything else was ok.
Eilat HOSTEL review: Arava Hostel
I use to stay in Beit Arava (Eilat) once a while for about 10 years. Good location for travellers - next to central bus station. Has own parking zone. For those who comes for sea, nightlife and shopping - its not central enough. Pretty clean. Nice kitchen for guests. Two supermarkets are at walk distance. Polite and friendly service. Rooms are basic, but they r equiped with the most important for being in Eilat things: AC, shower & WC, minibar (bigger refrigerator is avaliable for guests in guest-kitchen). Even cable TV. Dorms are ok, public facilities are ok too - all depends with whom you share the room and when u come (public holidays and seasons). I'd like it being a bit cheaper, but basically price is ok for what you get. Check out at 10 am (saturday at 12 noon) but you can leave your laggage in locker for ~2EU. Safe.
Florence Hotel review: Hotel Argentina
Too average for Italy, standard hotel with no much character. Good location, pretty clean.
Salzburg HOSTEL review: Yoho International Youth Hostel Salzburg
Great! I can say it was the best hostel I staid ever!
Munich HOSTEL review: MEININGER Munich City Center
Good hostel, nice locaiton - walking distance to the train station (abt 10 mins) and to the city center (abt 15 mins). Very big hostel, so has busy reception and was full ( August is busy time). New self-catering kitchen, elevator (sometimes stops work), pretty clean. For locker, towel, additional key and almost everything else need pay deposite, shits are included. Dorm for 14 beds has only 2 restrooms (WC and shower in each one) - it's not really enough, especially busy at mornings. I liked lamps near each bed and big lockers in the room.
Antigua HOSTEL review: Jungle Party Hostal
I loved this hostel and would be glad to be back there.
it's plain (dont expect hostal will b alike luxury hotel!), shared bathroom with REAL HOT WATER (it's an issue in Gueatemala), very good breakfast, friendly, helpful and polite stuff. Good location (Antigua is small!). Clean, not noisy.
we booked it online, everything answered our expectations
Berlin HOSTEL review: Heart of Gold Hostel
We slept there a week in June 2009 in mixed dorm for 6.
Very central location - just perfect!
Rooms are simple (that OK), but dirty (that pity!). Also it was very noisy - not the street, but in the room and in the hostel. Shared bathrooms - few on every floor, often busy, especially at the mornings. Breakfast is simple but OK. The Staff were very helpful and nice.Probably there are some changes in last 0,5 year, but few things that written here are wrong (where not right for 2009?): "Free Breakfast
If you book for more than 2 nights, you get breakfast included" , "free tea and coffee" - we staid for a week and paid breakfasts, also coffee and tea were not free ever.Underline: it was ok, but next time I'll try another hostel (maybe Helter Skelter Hostel it seems nice)
