The 2007 Travellerspoint calendar is on sale, featuring stunning travel photography from Travellerspoint members. The 12 images, hand-picked in a member vote, represent a small sampling of the 40 000 + travel photos featured on Travellerspoint. The calendar, designed by Boris Iochev, doubles as a set of 12 postcards, a unique feature which will benefit any traveller or armchair explorer.
All profits from sales will go to delivering internet-connected computers to remote rural communities. Green WiFi in partnership with Inveneo provides solar powered internet access and communications to communities in developing areas where electric power is nonexistent or unreliable. Green WiFi was founded on the belief that the welfare of the world depends on providing the 3 billion people living in these conditions with access to the world's information.
