WALL PAINTING#17

I SHOOT THIS PHOTOGRAPH IN A TRIBAL VILLAGE IN WEST BENGAL, INDIA. THE TRIBAL VILLAGERS IN THIS VILLAGE USED TO PAINT THEIR MUD HOUSE WALLS WITH VIBRANT EARTHEN COLORS SHOWING STRONG GRAPHICS SENSE. ALMOST ALL THE MEMBERS OF THE FAMILY HAVING THE NATURAL ARTISTIC SENSE FROM GENERATIONS AFTER GENERATIONS KEEP ON THIS PRACTICE OF PAINTING THE WALLS DURING THEIR FESTIVAL. OFCOURSE THE FEMALE MEMBERS TAKING THE LEAD ROLE IN THIS TRADITIONAL ART FORM, WHICH FASCINATED ME TO TAKE THE PHOTOGRAPH. IMMEDIATE INITIATIVE FROM GOVT. OR NOT-GOVT ORGANIZATIONS IS NEEDED FOR NURTURE THIS ART FORM BEFORE THEY BECOME REALLY EXTINCT
