Tea is more to Moroccans than wine is to Europeans. It is a great tradition here and requires great knowledge to prepare and serve it.
Tangia is a specialty from Marrakech, it is prepared at home but cooked in the coals used to heat public hot baths ( hammams ).

Henna is used here in Marrakech by a great number of tourists. It is a symbol of happiness between couples.
The main square, in Marrakech, Jamaâ El Fna by night. Our guesthouse is only 4 minutes walk. Here you can eat at open air restaurants and see night open air shows. It is animated until 2 or 3 o'oclock at night. In the morning, you can listen to storytellers. The crowd is exciting because it includes more Moroccans than tourists.

Called Pastilla or Bestila, it's a fine and delicious cake in Morocco. The cake is filled with spices, almonds and pigeon meat, so a real prepared one is expensive. Here is one I have shared with some French people.
