A small church as seen from the overlook at Kolomenskoye Park. Kolomenskoye Park is one of my favorite parks in Moscow, it is a large outdoor landscape and architecture museum where historical buildings from all over Russia are brought and rebuilt. At one time Kolomenskoye was where the summer palace of the Tsars was, it was considered at the time to be the eighth wonder of the world.

Christ the Savior Church is the largest church in Moscow, maybe Russia also. The orginal church was built in 1837-1833, but tore down by Stalin. When Communism ended in Russia, the people of Moscow rebuilt the church in 1995 according to the orginal plans.
