Built as an Anglican chapel in 1824 by Thomas Cottle who was president of Nevis and owner of Round Hill Estate. The church was built as a place where whites and slaves could worship together.
Located at Brimstone Hill Fortress National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in St Kitts, it once housed the Brigade Office, Main Guard Barracks and a Powder Magazine. This fortress was was once known as the Gibraltar of the West Indies.
