This summer, I travelled to Taiwan under Red Cross International to aid mentally challenged children and the elderly. During weekends, we travelled a bit on our own for a taste of Taiwanese culture. We happened upon this temple, and I couldn't resist taking a couple of shots.

We visited a glass museum, and they had a 10-foot long kaleidoscope. Naturally, I had a friend stand at the other end while I took a quick shot.

One of the best things about Taipei is the surrounding mountains...they provide an easy escape from the busy city.
