Grand Duke Pashkov's palace is right across from the entrance into the Kremlin. This is my favorite building in Moscow, just like the way it looks, it is being restored now.

This photo was taken at overlook at Vorobyevy Hills. Moscow State University is the tallest building in Moscow.
Voskresenskiye Gate was the main entrance into Red Square, but Stalin removed it and the small chapel in order to make it easier for troops and trucks to come in for the big parades he liked to have. When communisn ended the gate and chapel were restored back to the way they were.

This house is one of the oldest houses still standing in Moscow today. Located right down from the Kremlin and Red Square, it was given as a gift to English merchants by Tsar Ivan the Terrible, later it became the first British Embassy in Russia. Today it is a museum.
