Loch Lomond

The Jetty at Rowardennan Youth Hostel, on the East shore of Loch Lomond, Scotland. The youth hostel is below the mountain Ben Lomond and is a great base for touring and walking in the area.

I was lucky to be in Whitby in North Yorkshire for the annual weekend gothic festival. This is a photo of a couple of Goths walking along a back street in this historical seaside resort. The reason that the Goths chose to hold a festival here is because while visiting the town, the author of Dracula, Bram Stoker, acquired much of the detail and inspiration for his novel.
