On an afternoon game drive in Kruger we came around a corner and started watching a line of zebra walking down to a creek. Suddenly the zebras were spooked by four giraffe sprinting up from the creek bed. Instantly there was a dust cloud as animals sprinted in all directions. There were lions nearby which probably made all the animals nervous. This is one of a nice series of four.
On safari I made a discovery of a new species- the two arsed Rhino (all Simpsons fans get it). I saw the big 5- still cannot decide what they are exactly as there were more than five exciting animals.
We came across this impala hanging in a tree one morning in Kruger. We watched the tree for five and a half hours seeing the leopard creeping around and sitting several times. Then the next morning when we returned it was in the tree with the kill which it had positioned higher in the tree.
This leopard let us know that he was not sharing his kill.
