The Bighorn River flowed from the dam at Boysen State Park. A good example of how the road and rail links follow the rivers in wild country.
750ft high, 350ft below ground level, you can just make out the adventurous ones walking up the dunes and two just about to summit. Care was needed though, it was very hot, while we were there the local rescue team had just bought someone back to an ambulance in the car park.
