View of La Paz with mountain in background.
Tokk this pic outside the Bolivian Parliament Building. Loaded for bear (or protestors) with tear gas gear.
Got through roadblocks on outskirts of La Paz and made it to Copacabana on shore of Lake Titicaca. Lovely little town, and the steep hill on outskirts has the Stations Of The Cross. Very high altitude so you make quite a few stops on the way up, but the views of Copacabana and Lake Titicaca are immense.
Day trip from Copacabana to Isla del Sol on Lake Titicaca. Dropped off at the northern end of the island and you take a 3-4 hour hike along the ridgeline to catch the boat back. Great day, great weather, great scenery. JUST DO IT!!!
San Francisco Plaza and Cathedral. Walk slowly around this place, It's bloody high up!!!
Found these in the Witches Market in La Paz, along with other preserved animals for making potions and casting spells.

This miner is preparing a hole (by hand) to put the explosives in. His mouth full of coca-leaves to withstand the heat, the toxic fumes and the hunger, this miner seems to be quite frantic about his work...
