That is the name of this place. It was a lovely meadow, great I'm not sure, but nice.

Just a common fall scene near the Catskill mountains, New York. Little soldiers getting ready for the halloween parade...
You can see some fall colors here, they are not that spectacular yet.
These look like some sort of mushroom. Can anyone help identify these more specifically?
The local folks told us that fall colors are still about two weeks away because of the warm weather. However as we drove over a hill near Enfield, we saw more colors than at the lower elevations.
This was in Hingham, MA. There were actually 6 or 7 of them, but I couldn't get a good picture through the grass.

The main house was built for Johathan and Grace Fairbanke beginning about 1637. It is the oldest timber-frame house in North America. This is in Dedham, MA - on the outskirts of Boston.

These fellows are so used to the tourists, they don't really pay much attention to you, so you can get pictures of them quite easily.
This is the American side, the Canadian side is barely visible on the far right (part of it's mist anyway)
This is the main door in the "Castle", the oldest building at the fort. All ironwork would have been done by a blacksmith.
When the Fort was built, there was about 200 feet of land between the "Castle" and Lake Onterio. That is almost entirely gone due to erosion, but there is now a concrete bulkhead to protect against further erosion.
