The 745-acre park is located in Agua Dulce Canyon, one hour northeast of Los Angeles. Its elevation is 2,500 feet above sea level. Numerous movies, serials and television series were filmed at Vasquez Rocks.

The Yukon Railroad is about the only thing that connects Skagway to anywhere else.
Soapy was some kind of gangster in the Goldrush Days when Skagway was new. I think he owned everything in town and was apparently very scary. Someone killed him in 1898 and now this big skull is painted on the side of this rock. I don't really know why. But it was pirate-y, so I liked it.
These are at the Edgar I. Brown Homestead in South Dakota. It is the only prairie dog town with white prairie dogs!
I think this is a bathtub with a wood heater feature.

I was surprised to learn that Badlands National Park (NP) in South Dakota contains the largest protected wilderness area in the US.
Yes, we finally made it to the viewing platform and the sculpture is very well done. There is a trail up to the top of the sculpture but we did not take this.
