Today isthe festival celebrating Krishna's birthday. This was taken near our hotel just outside a temple, the kids are sitting on a swing all dressed up and lots of other children are fanning them and treating them like gods!

The palace was built by King Sengge Namgyal in the 17th century, but was later abandoned when Kashmiri forces besieged it in the mid-19th century. The royal family moved their premises to Stok Palace. The Leh Palace is nine storeys high; the upper floors accommodated the royal family, the stables and store rooms are located in the lower floors.
Tiksey is considered as one of the most imposing monastery in Ladakh. It is a 12-storey monastery painted in red and white and ochre. The snap is a giant 15 meters high Buddha figure.
This is the valley just before the Pangong Lake ( Leh ). The entire sand here is white and echo produced here is awesome.
This place is Ladhak's one of the most beautiful place as it shows you the magic of nature. The milky stream is Zanskar river and the other one is Indus. There "sangam" give feeling that different cultures meeting togather.
