The Red Flag means dangerous surf, stay out of the water
This is where we camped the previous night. Life is sure tough.
There were several guys trying to surf off the beach, but they rarely got up any farther than this.
This middle area of Florida has set aside several beaches for public access and use, and doesn't seem to mind RV's in their parking lots!
Even though it was getting late and we'd already been to one beach today, Mom enjoyed getting out in the sunshine one more time.
There are some condo's, golf clubs and mansions up here, but it's not as highly developed as farther south
If you look closely at the bottom of the sign, the beach is managed by the County's "Dept of Leisure Services". I need one of those!
The Yellow flag means Medium Hazard surf, the Purple flag means dangerous marine life
Very, very toxic marine animal and fairly common in this area
Mom wanted to get the waves splashing on the rocks, but I refused to go any deeper into the surf!

There aren't very many beaches on the Florida Key's, this is one of the nicer ones.
This campground at Long Key State Park is normally booked up a year in advance, but sometimes people cancel at the last minute. Life is rough, what can I say?
This was the view from our table at lunch at the "Southernmost Cafe" in Key West, on the Southern side of the Island of course...
This was on one of the keys as we drove down Hwy 1 between Miami and Key West.
These are quite clear, so may be a little hard to see.
This is right next to the RV at Boyds RV Campground by Key West.
