A really cosy town with cute restaurants and shops. The map says Moctezuma but the real name is Montezuma.
Bodie is 12 miles from Bridgeport at an elevation of 8,379 (2554 meters). Over 200,000 visitors pay the $7/person to walk around.
Gold was discovered in Bodie in 1859. In the 1880s, Bodie had almost 7,000 residents.
At its peak, Bodie had 2 banks, 65 saloons, a jail and numerous brothels.

We arrived at our hostel, The Helvetia, in Warsaw, and found it was in the Old Town, a picturesque and busy place (tourist and locals alike). Sun was out, beer was cold and all was well in our big world.
