There seem to be a lot of distinguished pine trees on Huangshan. They're all over the place. Seemingly normal pine trees have these little plaques with info about the age of the tree, it's height and all this other weird stuff. It's really strange to me because I have no idea what the significance is. I don't think the Chinese people do either, but it there's a sign, it's worth taking a picture with to them.
These aren't all of my sunrise pictures, but I'm only going to upload a few so it doesn't get redundant. The sky was actually much lighter than this, but my camera couldn't quite get it. I took this right around 5 AM on top of one of the many crowded peaks packed with people also there to see the sun rise.

When we passed this sign, we read this as "16 KM to your next destination" Luckily, it was missing a decimal point and it was only 1.6.
