was a long ways up alot of steep stairs to get back up... very much worth it though. Brandon climbing up. You can see the crazy australian forests below. This photo failed to capture the dizzying effect of the drop below...
I love this picture. Sums up the feeling of the day very nicely...
Women in bikinis in the forest... how often does that happen?
this is what was waiting for us at the bottom of Wentworht Falls... I see why theyt names the town after these falls...
This one is just for the eyes.
The same falls as the last picture but from furhter out with the next level of the cascade in view. There is still one more level further down
This place was amazing. a real powerspot. if you look in the bottom right, that's Brandon. when we were here, we thought this was it... later in the day when we hiked further down, we realized that this was just the tip of the iceberg... about 1/4 of the actual falls. bloody amazing. you have to see it to belive it.
Think this was in Wentworth falls - beautiful anywhere you go around there...
Here is one of the only photos taken that night... this is Brandon on Oxford street - it's his birthday, mine at midnight - behind him are a whole bunch of cops then a row of cops on horses, attempting to clear the streets. What a night...
They al seem to pose like this for photos, hey? This one is the biggest one I've found so far... he was very photogenic.. and almost two feet long. really beautiful colours... was along the trail near Wentworth falls.
I found this little guy, about 8 inches long, on a stone in a creek while hiking. The flash spooked him and he ran through the water to the shore and off into the forest.
look up! there is probably a big spider up there somewhere! if you're in New South Whales anyway...
at night high intensity lightingf comes on to shine on the formations near Katoomba. more often than not, the for and rains roll in at night. the lights are still cool.. just in a different way...
one of a series of photos I took in attempt to photograph spiders webs at night. This one came out pretty good...
The imfamous 3 sisters in Katoomba, Blue mountains. Rock formation surrounded by an amazing panoramic view. Photo taken from Echo point.
Some kind of large beetle I found in the blue mountains... there were lots of them in a very small area.
A small beach/swimming hole I found out in the forest in the blue mountains
A view of the house from the field. beautiful here!

A small spider in the rain. little water srops on its web. the flash bounced back pretty good... gives hima sort of super natural glow
I love it here. I must have seen every possible colour of sand and soil since I have arrived in this country. I found this segment where the roots are exposed and the trees have grown so large that they have destroyed an old fence... beautiful to me...
Grant and mich called this crayfish creek.. not sure if that is the real name or not... it's near Sommerset, which is near Bernie at the base of the A10 highway
This is a typical coastal view along the northern coast of Tasmania... not sure exactaly where this was taken... probably within 40km of Bernie
Mich, Grant and some fisherman on the Jetti at the base of the remnants of a once-volcano structure called "the nut" at the town of Stanley, where Grant had grwon up and had not visited in 15 years. the water was so clear there... amazing
