Once of the crew entertained us by playing his harmonica on the way over.
That's our campsite along the beach with the building that was going on above us. These were slated to be luxurious timeshare Villas each with their own pools.
That's David, our captain, and the camp in the background.
The next morning, Carol, Toni, Graham and I hired a local fisherman to take us out to Margarite Island, a national park. They came for us around 6 in the morning.
And the full moon that night was just as incredible.
The Sunset that night was spectacular.
We imagined this had once been a beach restaurant or a bar. It was surrounded on either side by empty beach villas.
We came across these little boys playing in the ocean with some small sailboats that they had made.
One of the toy sailboats was made out of an old flip flop.
We had to walk across a huge section of razor clams. Fortunately Graham and I had our shoes on, but Carol ended up cutting her feet when her flip flops got sucked off in the sand.
Carol, Graham and I walked into Vilanculos during low tide along the beach. Although it looked pretty close, it took us several hours to get there.
This was the view on the other side of our camp! Talk about a room with a view.
