So I went to see the oldest and most traditional pantomine - Cinderella! It was magical, the sets amazing...we missed out as kids.
Having heard forever about the pantomines in oz (our soap stars flock to them ever year, this one featured Richard Grieve), I actually saw one...the black chick is one of the singers from eternal, and the guy in the blue suit a an actor from a UK soap. The other on the stage are the traditional pantomine dames (always played by men), tho a story for kids, it provided a lot of entertainment for the adults.
So this place was created purely by accident. The geothermal plant pumped its hot sulphar waster to the lava grounds nearby. THe chemical reaction between the two can the ground to become waterproof.
Beautiful! Water is warm and amazing, just a pity its you have to take the cold journey to get into the water.
How amazing, having no snow prior to Christmas, I wake up and everything is covered by snow.
So Reykjavik gets about 4 hours of daylight. they have found a si-fi way to ensure that plants can get the light that they need.
