This is really near to where Chrysi lives in Sydney...
just liked this picture.. so I put it up
Taken from under the habour bridge on my first night in Sydney, Australia.
This is a moth I found in a phonebooth while I was talking to Kayla. Burnt matchstick in the photo for scale.
I forget the sheep's name... but he was really funny... whenever something went wrong.. like a chick pecked him he'd run around an make a bunch of noise..
Flash photography of the ocean spashing up. Thought it looked kind of cool...
more tidepool stuff at Tesselated pavement near Eaglehawk neck, Tasman Penninsula.
beautiful things in the ocean - painted with light
had some fun with these shots... using a tripod, 4 sedonf exposures and a flashlight as a light source to pain in the scene. this one the camera has not yet be white balanced to the torch, so it's a little on the tugsten side..
This was the sunset that evening after climbing the mountain. I was cycling home... stopped the bike and took this shot using the hadlebars as a tripod. beauty, eh?
here is one litle bit of the beautiful panoramic views offered from the summit of the track. I could point out where I hiked/cycled back to that evening... it's behind the mountain on the left
Still haven't had the time to identify what kind of snake this was... either a tiger or a black... doesn't really matter though. there are 3 kinds of snakes in tassie and they'll all kill you very fast
right before the steep climb starts
This was taken on the way up... near the waterfall bay lookout
really nice views all the way along
How often do you see these signs back home? I've actually seen at least a couple dozen of them
this spider crawled out of my foled up map and ran up my arm before I brushed it off and photographed it... still don't know wether it's harmless or deadly...
beautiful patterns in nature
this picture was taken on the tasman penninsula... no further than about 5 km from the coast... rocks and ruggest ocean, strip of costal rainforest, then beautiful farm land... what a place
this cave didn't quite live up to it's hyped up name... would have been more impressive if it had been named a little more modestly... "really nice cave" or something
A nice little scene near remarkable cave
At the very bottom of the Tasman Coastal track... before the real incline
There was a friendly sheep that came when you called it at the hostel... just roamed around in the tent yard
wonderful little place. this couple ran the hostel right in their yard. it was a great experiance
I ate some of these and didn't die.... another local told me they were edible, so I was trying them again - and then he says "wait - those are red inside, the ones I was thinking of are white inside"...
