Zion Nat'l Park

Another bottom up day hiker in the Narrows. It is 16 miles from the top of the Narrows to the bottom. You need a permit and overnight gear if you hike the Narrows from the top down. You also need strong legs and sense of adventure!

In the Narrows. The river was running 47 cfs when we went up it. 4 days earlier it was running 1,200cfs due to a flash flood. Nobody was allowed in the Narrows for 3 days.
