The crazy things they did for us ~ walk on fire, dance with fire, throw knifes (and even get cut a few times), husk coconuts with their teeth, all sorts!
Me & Courtney Sanding Away at our Jewelry ~ Day and Night
We spent a lot of time making bracelets and kava bowls.
YUM!
Always seemed to make us look like fools for some reason!
Fresh Fish was cooked and served to us. It was wonderful! Very Delicious!
Each day we were prepared a huge breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food was Amazing!
The things they made us do on that island!
Drinking the milk & eating the flesh of coconuts. Some like the unripe green, others (like me) enjoy the aged brown coconut flesh.
He had a bit of a crush on me. Okay, so he really wanted to marry me and take me on a 13 day cruise around to tons of islands and pay for it all . . . . but hey. . . It's nice to feel loved! =P
Hope this boat doesn't tip us into the brown muddy murk below!
A bucket of cold water with a rope and a spout.
The mosquitos were terrible!
Fill up the bucket, attach it to a string over your head -- and there's your shower!!
We only took necessities to RCI. One change of clothes (well, most of us) and a fleece bag. And not enough mozzy repellant!
Wasn't the best looking island at first glance. We were hoping for better weather and beaches and thankfully the next day we got what we wanted.
Courtney shows us her bed which will cause her a panic attack when the mozzy (mosquito) net falls on her in the middle of the night.
Courtney and I shared this Cucumber for dinner our first night. For lunch we had dried apricots on moist, thick crackers. What a healthy (okay, cheap) way to eat!
A 40c FJ ice cream from McyD's was a perfect way to cool down during a 2 hour walk in jandles from Nadi flea market back to our hostel. Vinaka = Thank you; Give Way = Yield
Sitting around playing cards was a great way to wait for Shalvin to take us to dinner for good ol' Pizza!
