I couldn't resist converting to B&W this image shooting the Seine early in the morning. For me it's a much stronger image in monochrome than in color. There is much to photograph along the Seine as shown in my DVD at the usphotogroup web site of the same name.
Instead of the typical outdoor shot of the pyramid at the Louvre, one can make a more interesting one from inside the pyramid.
I thought pieces themselves made for a strong image. It always good to make the viewer think a little when looking at an image.
Getting up and out at 6 am is only way to capture the gardens and other sites in Paris if you want to avoid people.

Took a 200 mm focal length shot to get tip of the Ile de la Cite which is called Vert Galant Square.
Finding so many relaxed Parisians was a surprise. With any big city, one usually expects the opposite. In our DVD about four regions of France in Paris section (see usphotogroup.com), there are many pictures showing relaxed Parisians.. it speaks of the good life.
