This was by a drainage canal next to a casino. Ugly scenery, beautiful bird.
This was again at the city beach
I'm sorry I don't know what this was, but he was kind of cute.
Or at least I think this is a hawk, not too sure
I promise not to upload any more seagulls. I promise not to upload any more...
If you recognize it, please add a comment and let us know.
This was on Devils Lake, the largest natural lake in North Dakota
There were quite a few birds in the ponds along Hwy 83 in central South Dakota.
Some ponds would have no birds, then we'd pass one with hundreds of birds. They do seem to like to flock to the same pond.
Female Ring Neck Pheasants, very common along the side of Hwy 83 south of Pierre, South Dakota
I thought this was a dove, but after I copied the photo to the laptop and saw it enlarged, don't think so.
Anybody know what kind of bird this is?
Ok, had to show one more of these birds
I think I'd better stop uploading these birds, they seem to be fairly common.
This was quite far away from us (Camera has a 12x zoom), but I think it was a golden eagle. The postmaster in Boye confirmed that they are fairly common in that area.
Saw this one in Montana
Early California morning. The sandpipers, I believe (in the center of the frame) were my favorite!
Oops you miss the pedestrian crossing
Well, they were a bit upset
