ITALY_Treviso_S Nicolas Church

St Nicolas Church 14th cent. The frescoes you see were painted by Tommaso da Modena (one of the best Renaissance painters) and the portraits in the chapel are by Laurenzo Lotto. There are also more portraits of Domenican monks in the chapter house also painted by Tommaso da Modena.

ITALY_Treviso_S Nicolas Church

This is the Church of St Nicholas (San Nicolo') in the centre of Treviso. It was built in the 14th Century in the Romanesque-Gothic style. The frescoes were painted by Tommaso da Modena (one of the best Renaissance painters) and the portraits in the chapel are by Laurenzo Lotto. ITALY_Treviso shadows

Everywhere you go in Treviso - you see these shadows. After some research online I found that there are works of Mario Martinelli - artist, who was born in Treviso. Shadows made of net, unusual and pretty.

ITALY_Treviso - città d'acque

Treviso changes at night tme: dark shoulders of churches props the sky, courtyards become mysterious, side tiny lanes are emptying and the light from lamps - warm and humid, envelops the houses and bridges with trembling golden haze and reflects in water of canals.

ITALY_Treviso street scene.

I like to watch people. Here - girls and dogs were walking and performing. Suddenly their dogs seen another big dog, girls turned after them and mentoned handsome guy - the dog's owner (out of frame), who set near high table with his beer. I took few photos of the event, it's one of them.

ITALY_Treviso "Madam Upstairs"

Lived in very special B&B in Treviso, called "Madam Upstairs". It's big apartment on the last floor of the old building, from head to toys designed in style of 70th. Psychodelic colors, collection of items and furniture from 70th and really very much upstairs.
