Monkeys at the Temple in Kathmandu, Nepal. These kids found me when i was hiking up some back roads to the Monkey Temple at dusk. They insisted on escorting me up to the temple and we raced each other up the stairs to the top.

Summer palace, beijing

Its not surprising the emperor chose this place as a cool summer retreat. The temperature was well below freezing, much cooler than the rest of beijing. The lake had frozen beautifully and the winter sun cast a lovely glow on the freezing water.
