Day 130 - Blue Butterfly

Unfortunately, this is not the Miami Blue, which is critically endangered, but a closely related species. It was very small, only about 3/4 inch long.

Day 127 - Ceraunus Blue Butterfly

Very similar to the Miami Blue Butterfly, which is only found in Miami (South Florida), but this one is more common. It was only about 1/2 inch long.

These were pretty bright yellow on top, but I think it's still a cloudless sulpher.

Day 65 - Long Beach, Butterfly

Notice how light the sand is, very soft also. After further research, this is a 'Common Buckeye' butterfly. It is found in all parts of the US except the Nortwest (where I'm from, which is why I haven't seen it before).
