Offerings being made at Di Tan
Temple of Heaven. On Chun Jie, people stand in line to make offerings to the gods at the temples. The temple closest to my Beijing apartment is Di Tan or the Temple of the Earth. This is the location of the offerings. People were standing in a line that was about 2-3 hours long.
Architecture really tells you where you are
