This church image is so typical when you run into these small villages scattered through-out the Loire Valley.
I like the composition of this image with the v-shaped roofs and pastoral background with the river. It's a quintessential image of this village.
Montresor is quaint little town and quite lovely. This was shot looking down from the castle ramparts into town.
Loches is medieval town and there is much to photograph. I just likes the front of this house. It looked like a painting
Instead of photographing the double helical staircase, try to capture the smaller ones. There are many at the chateau and they are more intimate.
The biggest of all chateaux in the Loire Valley, it attracts a lot of people. This side view gives you idea of its size. This shot took 30 minutes to get to avoid people so it takes patience when photographing at the chateau.
Just loved this old servant's staircase, the light was right and perspective was perfect.
