Drunk Aussie with a Koala and a beer

We were in the Koala infested campground on Australia day... it's like Canada day weekend but fireworks are not sold here. This guy wanted his friend to take his photo with the koala... and every one else took one too.... because it was funny. It was actually rather disturbing how many poeple were crowded around these animals... The one in this phos had climbed up a thin branch which had drooped down to people level... it just sat there munching away while people were petting it... it eventually got pissed off and climbed away when a lady sarted pulling on the branch to get a better photo. that really bothered me... so I vacated, hoping others would follow...

Koalas everywhere

spotted this one walking out to the creek to fish... the tree this one is sitting in is not a eucalyptus tree... most just be a good climbin' tree

Mother and Baby Koala

Amazing creatures. Had the pleasure of watching the mother and baby do their thing.... climbing about, being lazy, nursing, encouaging the little one to eat leaves, the little one climbing on it's own... amazing to watch... Theseanimals were not the least bit afriad of people...
