The cliffs at Skogafoss Waterfall were once the former coastline. The cliffs have receded 3 miles (5km) from the present day coastline.

This mom walked down to the mailbox while we were looking at Eyjafjallajokull Volcano behind the clouds. We had a decent weather day and still could not see the top. I think it is a rare day that it is in full view.
