I was born and brought up in Iran, a beautiful country full of history.
"This is a photo from the gorge "Velika korita" on river Soca. Incredible how this plant grew from stone walls only because there is enough water in the crack where it found place for its roots".....a wonderful reminder from nature,to never lose hope because anything is possible!
Kinnin are a very small ( about 600) population of Chad tuaregs. They lost some typical tuareg traditions like the often blue indigo colored veil to cover their face (tagelmust) and they acquired polygamy (normally tuareg are monogams). Descended from Berbers in the region that is now Libya, the Tuareg are descendants of ancient Saharan peoples described by Herodotus. The Tuareg adopted camel nomadism along with its distinctive form of social organization from camel-herding Arabs about two thousand years ago, when the camel was introduced to the Sahara from Saudi Arabia. Traditionally, Tuareg society is hierarchal, with nobility and vassals.
Comino (Maltese: Kemmuna) is an island of the Maltese archipelago between the islands of Malta and Gozoin the Mediterranean Sea, measuring 3.5 km² in area. Named after the cumin herb that once flourished on the Island, Comino is noted for its tranquility and isolation. It has a permanent population of only four residents. Between Comino and adjacent islet of Cominotto (Maltese: Kemmunett) lie the transparent, cyan waters of the Blue Lagoon (Maltese: Bejn il-Kmiemen, literally "Between the Cominos"). Frequented by large numbers of tourists and tour boats daily, the Blue Lagoon is a much photographed, picturesque bay, with a brilliant white, sandy base, and a rich marine life that make it popular with divers, snorkelers and swimmers. The centre of Valletta is Palace Square, with the Grand Master's Palace, built by Gerolamo Cassar between 1568 and 1574. This Renaissance palace with its two entrances on the main front now houses the Maltese Parliament, the residence of the President of Malta and various Government offices.
Hohenzollern Castle is in the south of Germany and was the ancestral seat of the kings of Prussia and German Emperors. It is the highest point for miles around and is distinctive on the horizon approaching from any direction. The hill has been occupied for centuries, but the present castle was rebuilt in the early 1800s. It is still owned jointly by the heads of the Prussian and Swabian royal families.

Perhaps, Twelve Apostles is the most famous attraction site in Australia.
Volissos is the largest and most important village of the northern (less travelled and discovered) part of the island of Hios. There you can find some fine examples of traditional architecture, a castle above the village and one of the best guest houses in Greece. You also have at your disposal more than 10 km of beautiful beaches with crystal clear waters only 2 km far from the village. You can use Volissos as a base to explore the almost isolated villages of Northern Hios where every day life seems to have stuck in the 50's. At Kourounia, a village about 15 km from Volissos you can taste the famous from the ancient years, Ariousios Oinos, the local wine, that's been produced, almost in the same way it did from the time of Homer
