While seeming like nice beautiful beaches, there is a lot of junk. I wanted to clean it up, but there was so much it would take me hours.
A lone fisherman having a peaceful morning... he caught one fish about the size of 2 fingers... and boy was he happy.
Off Kata there is a tiny island called Ko Pu. It's nice as scenery, but I dunno if it's practical to go out there.
Kata has two beaches, the larger one to the north and the smaller to the south, separated by this headland.
Kata beach at sunset. It was nice for an east coast girl to finally see the sunset over the beach.

the Kamala beach area was devastated by the tsunami, reconstruction was everywhere and you could almost smell the new paint. Kamala is also home to most of Phuket's muslim families - who cook a darn good dish.
