The following day after seeing the fire warning sign I cycled past a forest fire on the same stretch of road. The fire was raging only 100m up the road from the sign! The boys did a good job putting it out and I saved a stick insect that climbed onto my foot - what a hero!

Manila Jeepneys

Taken from the back of a Jeepney on the way to central Manila. They are so cheap and a great way to travel if you can put up with the smells! Gotta love the names they call them and the pride in their decoration.

Downpour in Shanghai!

I took this picture whilst sheltering from the torrential downpour that lasted about an hour. I was caught right underneath the storm and the thunder rolled through the streets like a dozen planes taking off at once! The photo doesn't quite capture the amount of rain coming down, I knew I should've bought an SLR!!

A picture of Benny Hill to indicate that this is the little boys room in Dave's Bar on Sukhbator Square in Ulaan-Bataar! Joanna Lumsley as Patsy in Ab Fab was on the door to the ladies, i hope she was getting paid because the hook through her back looked painfull!
