I really like this picture - with the flag half obscuring the field, and the Czech players sitting on the ground dejected in the background. It almost makes me fell like a true ARTISTE...
Approximately 8 minutes or so after this picture was taken, the Argentinian team was able to celebrate winning 2 - 1 over Czech Republic, and winning the Under 20 World Cup
The Czechs were the first to score in the Argentina - Czech final. The celebration was short lived, though, as Argentina answered quickly, and scored again to eventually win 2 - 1 and become the U20 world champions
Though the Chilean fans had better chants, the Argentinian fans had more drums.
2 games were played at the FIFA U20 finals, Chile - Austria for third place, and Argentina - Czech for the trophy. Mostly the stadium was filled with South American fans - either Chileans or Argentinians. There were a few Czech fans, and even fewer Austrian fans. I happened to caputre one Czech fan amid the see of Chilean red, white and blue and Argentinian blue and white.
This protester was standing with handcuffs on, protesting against the Toronto police force after an altercation between the Chilean Under 20 team and the Toronto Police ended with some of the Chilean players being pepper sprayed and tasered.
The game previous to this, the Chilean team and the Toronto police got into an altercation, which saw some Chilean players getting tasered and pepper sprayed. This people were protesting against the police. Hopefully Chile winning the consolation final brought them some joy.

A steady rain of seat cushions led the field crew to assemble a shelter for the Chicago Fire players and coaches for the 2nd half.
Toronto FC's first goal EVER is met with a shower of seat cushions. Not the best idea for a free give away.
